Our third appearance at the Mililani Farmers Market marked another exciting step forward for Paiola. We unveiled a newly redesigned booth, complete with upgraded banners, improved signage, and freshly constructed menus to help visitors quickly navigate our offerings.
New Booth, Same Heart
We believe in continuous improvement, and this market was our chance to elevate the customer experience while staying true to our values. The updated booth featured bold new menus with detailed descriptions and add-on options, making it easier for people to customize their dishes. The visual presentation helped communicate our mission: delicious, nourishing food that’s accessible and made with intention.

Welcoming Familiar Faces (and New Ones Too)
This market was extra special because we welcomed back several returning customers who remembered us from previous events. One woman told us she had shared her experience with family on the mainland and wished she could send them dinner from Paiola. Another guest shared, “I only come back if it’s better than what I can make at home… and I’ll be back.”
A few new visitors were pleasantly surprised. One man told us the booth looked so professional, he assumed the prices would be too high. He left with a meal and a smile, saying the prices were incredibly fair for such high-quality food. Several people mentioned how few plant-based options are available in the area and encouraged us to expand.
Behind the Scenes with Chef Charisse
Before the event, Chef Charisse was hard at work prepping meals in the kitchen. Her passion for food and community is at the heart of everything we do.
